World's first "negative billionaire"?

(CBS News/AP) He may be the world's first "negative billionaire" but, in 2010, when 60 Minutes' Steve Kroft met Brazilian businessman Eike Batista, he had a luxury sports car parked inside his home and a net worth of $27 billion. He also had a bold warning for Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim, who outranked Batista on the Forbes list of wealthiest people at the time.

"Tell Mr. Slim, that he should clean up his right and his left mirror of his car. Because I'm going to pass on the right, on the left."

Now, the embattled Batista faces charges of market manipulation and insider trading in connection with the collapse of his oil company, Petroleo e Gas Participacoes (OGX). And, according to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index, Batista owes $1.2 billion.

Last week, a federal judge froze more than $1 billion of financial assets belonging to Batista, his sons, his ex-wife and his girlfriend. In early-morning raids on two of his homes, Brazilian authorities seized lavish cars -- including a Lamborghini and Porsche Cayenne -- jewelry, cell phones, documents and other valuables.

Batista, who claims no wrongdoing, faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted.
