Watch: Taylor Swift halts traffic for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" performance

Taylor Swift has gone full pop star.

Without a guitar by her side, the singer belted out two tracks off her fifth album, "1989," for 15,000 fans on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

The outdoor performance was held on Hollywood Boulevard, actually halting traffic in downtown Los Angeles. It kicked off her promotional tour for the album.

Before performing her very danceable hit single "Shake It Off" and the Jack Antonoff co-produced "Out of the Woods", Swift sat down with Kimmel to discuss "1989," which comes out Monday.

"I'm more confident about this album than I've been about any of the other ones, which is a really nice feeling," Swift said. "But it's almost like you're releasing this thing into the world that you spent two years with, and it's just been mine for two years and now it's everybody else's. You know, sending it off to college."

Watch the "Out Of The Woods" performance below:

Swift will join "Good Morning America" for an interview with Robin Roberts on Monday, followed by appearances on CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman" on Tuesday and "The View" on Wednesday. Then, she'll return to 'GMA' for a performance on Thursday, Oct. 30.
