Miranda Lambert living off "caffeine and sad songs"

Miranda Lambert knows just how to deal with a breakup: strong coffee and sad music.

During her performance Tuesday in Nashville, Tennessee, Lambert, 31, told the crowd, "Well, I've been living off of caffeine and sad songs lately."

She then grabbed her mug, starting playing guitar and added, "So, we're gonna drink some caffeine and sing sad songs." That led right to a performance of her 2011 song, "Dear Diamond."

Lambert and Shelton announced their divorce last week, and her comments seem to reference the split.

The couple, who were married for four years, released a statement, saying, "This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."

Plenty of cheating rumors followed the announcement, but both stars have kept quiet on the reports. Though they shared this friendly exchange last week on Twitter.
