Former "Baywatch" star accused of stabbing man

LOS ANGELES - An actor who played David Hasselhoff's son on the once-popular TV show "Baywatch" was arrested Saturday in connection with a stabbing that took place last month, police in Los Angeles say.

Jeremy Jackson Dunn, 34, was taken into custody Saturday morning by authorities responding to a possible burglary call in the Ramparts section of Los Angeles. Officers said they saw a man running from the scene and detained him. The officers on the burglary call also worked a stabbing complaint late last month and believed the man they detained matched the description of the stabbing suspect, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The stabbing reportedly took place March 24 in the same section of Los Angeles. The stabbing victim told police at the time that he was fighting with a former "'Baywatch' star" when the actor allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the stomach, forearm and tricep.

The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition, according to the station.

Dunn was released from jail Saturday after posting $30,000 bail.

Dunn appeared on the TV series "Baywatch" from 1991 to 1999, when he left the series due to a drug problem, CBS Los Angeles reported.

In recent years, Dunn has continued to struggle with drugs and appeared on the television show "Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab."
