Jimmy Kimmel shares photos of newborn daughter Jane

Jimmy Kimmel is just like any other proud dad, sharing photos of his new baby. Only difference is, he has a television show to do it on.

Back from a two-week hiatus, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" host introduced his audience and viewers to his newborn daughter, Jane, on Monday night.

Kimmel and wife Molly McNearney welcomed Jane on July 10. In his monologue Monday, the host said that during his time off he painted a mirror, grew a beard and, oh yeah, had a baby, too.

"We had a little girl, we named her after my grandmother -- her name is Grandma Kimmel," he joked.

"My wife is doing fine, I'm fine too," Kimmel added. "I was so brave. I cried a little but I didn't scream. You guys would've been very, very proud of me."

Kimmel also has two older children from his marriage to Gina Maddy. "I have a 22-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son already, but it's interesting how much you forget," he joked about his new little one. "Did you know they don't eat pizza at this age?"
