Sinead O'Connor begs family to visit in new Facebook post

Sinead O'Connor continues to raise concerns about her well-being through a series of status updates on Facebok.

In her latest post, written on Tuesday, the Irish singer-songwriter begged her family to come and see her.

"To my children and family. You came to the hospital to see me on life support. You left before I woke and you haven't been back. Please why are you doing these things to me?? I need you. I need your love. I can't manage what's being done to me. I didnt do anything g to deserve the way im being treated," she wrote on Tuesday.

The post follows social media updates from over the weekend, including one in which the 48-year-old singer noted that she had "taken an overdose."

"The last two nights finished me off. I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in ireland, under another name," she wrote.

Local reports followed, indicating that O'Connor was safe and in the hospital. But it appears that she's still facing challenges as she asks for visitors.

"Been missing you all for weeks. To hear that you were here and left was agony. Now I am utter,y alone. Please. Please love me. Please come to the hospital and spend time with me and help Fix all this. Please. I'm. BEgging you. Don't leave me so frightened and alone. Don't treat me like I'm not loved and am worth nothing. Please. If you love me even a little please come and be with me and help me understand what's happening. I didn't even have any clothes. I haven't a thing. Please. Jake, Roisin. All, please, come see me and make me feel like M loved. Help me Istead of punishment . Please please I beg you come see me and help," she added on Tuesday via Facebook.

The "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer has four children -- three sons and a daughter. In August, she underwent a hysterectomy. A month earlier, O'Connor revealed that her son (she didn't say which one) had a "life-threatening medical condition."
