Emilia Clarke would also like to play the first female Bond, thank you very much

Look out, Gillian Anderson -- you've got some competition.

Not that anyone's offering "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke a meeting with the Bond bosses, but she's open to the idea of becoming the first female 007.

"I have a lot of unrealized dreams," Clarke told the Daily Star. "I would love to play Jane Bond."

And not only is she interested in the role, but she has some further casting ideas, like who should take on the daunting task of being the first Bond Boy: "My ultimate leading man would be Leonardo DiCaprio. No doubt about it," Clarke said.

Anderson had previously thrown her hat into the ring for the theoretical casting choice, retweeting a fan-made poster of her as Jane Bond.

While producers are expected to pick a successor to Daniel Craig -- who isn't expected to star in another 007 film following last year's "Spectre" -- there have been no indications from the franchise bosses that they are considering a gender-swap for the beloved character.
