The Kesha and Dr. Luke drama continues

The Kesha and Dr. Luke drama continues, with a new report from People citing documents that say Kesha denied that the producer abused her in an unrelated case in 2011.

That contradicts a new lawsuit in which the pop star accuses Dr. Luke of sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse. In the suit, the 27-year-old pop singer says Dr. Luke would force her to use drugs and alcohol and then make advances at her.

The musical pair have been working together since Kesha was 18 years old. In another instance, Kesha says (per TMZ, which obtained a copy of the suit) that Dr. Luke, 41, made her snort a substance before boarding a plane and sexually assaulting during the flight.

For his part, Dr. Luke filed his own suit, claiming the singer and her family are trying to spread lies to get out of a contract. His lawyer said Kesha's lawsuit is "a campaign of publishing outrageous and untrue statements."

Now People reports that Dr. Luke's legal team recently petitioned a judge to open documents from a 2011 case involving her former management company, DAS Communications, where she denies any abuse or an intimate relationship ever happened.

In that same deposition, Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert, is also quoted as saying she wasn't aware of Dr. Luke slipping Kesha a "date rape drug" or that "they had had a sexual relationship of any kind."

"[Dr.] Luke's latest legal maneuver comes as no surprise," Kesha's lawyer, Mark Geragos, told People. "As detailed in our complaint, [Dr.] Luke walked Kesha down the beach and threatened to destroy Kesha's life and the lives of her family if she didn't cover up his sexual assaults in a 2011 deposition."

Kesha first came on the scene in 2010 with the hit "Tik Tok." After that, she pumped out several other singles including "Your Love is My Drug," "Crazy Love" and ''Die Young." The California native starred in the MTV reality series "My Crazy Beautiful Life" and earlier this year made her directorial debut with the music video for "Dirty Love."
