Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid call off engagement

Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid of the band Snow Patrol are calling off their engagement.

The pair started dating in 2013 and got engaged in June 2014, but according to People, a source says they've been having issues for a while and have decided to break things off.

Cox, 51, and McDaid, 39, announced their engagement last year after about six months of dating.

The former "Friends" actress was previously married to David Arquette from 1999 to 2013. They are parents to 11-year-old daughter, Coco.

Snow Patrol had a hit in 2006 with the single, "Chasing Cars."

Cox is attached to the upcoming movie "Mother's Day," co-starring Sharon Stone, Susan Sarandon and Christina Ricci.
