"Horns" trailer shows off a devilish Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe is going to hell and back in his new fantasy thriller.

The "Harry Potter" star is once again exploring the supernatural with his latest, "Horns," based on the bestselling novel from Joe Hill.

Radcliffe plays Ig, who becomes the prime suspect following the murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple.) In the wake of her death, Ig begins to grow a literal pair of horns on the top of his head, making those around him even more suspicious.

A new trailer was unveiled as this year's Comic-Con for "Horns", which received a mixed response from critics following its world premiere last fall at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival.

On Sunday, director Alexandre Aja ("Piranha 3D") shared a new image from the film, along with a link to a video of Radcliffe at Comic-Con describing what it was like working with a six-foot-long python, apparently named Princess Leia:

"Horns" fittingly arrives in theaters on Oct. 31.
