Jamie Dornan visited a sex dungeon to prepare for "Fifty Shades of Grey"

Sounds like Jamie Dornan went Method when it came to prepping to play Christian Grey.

The actor revealed in a new interview that he visited a sex dungeon while doing research for his role in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did...whatever they were into," he told Elle UK in its February issue. "I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives."

Dornan seemed to have a sense of humor about the experience, saying, "I was like: 'Come on guys I know I'm not paying for this but I am expecting a show.' It was an interesting evening."

But, that said, he still needed to do one thing before returning back to his wife and newborn child: "I had a long shower before touching either of them."

"Fifty Shades of Grey," starring Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, arrives in theaters on Valentine's Day.
