Protesters take on Beyonce and NFL in New York

Not everyone was so thrilled with Beyonce's new video for "Formation" and the Super Bowl halftime show performance that followed its release. An unidentified group has made plans to protest the singer next Tuesday, the same day tickets go on sale for her recently announced "Formation" world tour.

At issue are the singer's use of Black Panther costuming and imagery in her choreography and comments on police race-relations, moves critics, including former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani, have knocked as being "anti-police."

"I thought it was really outrageous that she used [the Super Bowl] as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive," Giuliani said during an interview with Fox News.

"Are you offended as an American that Beyonce pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Super Bowl?" the protest's EventBrite description reads. "Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement? ... Let's tell the NFL we don't want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again!"

The protest is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday outside the NFL's Park Avenue headquarters, according to the posting. Attendees are asked to "be peaceful and respect the boundaries of private property" during any protest activities. They are also asked to wear blue, and not black, as the organizers believe counter-protesters will wear black.
