Woody Allen opens up on wife Soon-Yi Previn, Mia Farrow

Ever wonder how Woody Allen feels about having left his former partner, Mia Farrow, for her daughter, Soon-Yi Previn?

He told the Hollywood Reporter that it was no big deal.

"I was immune, yes I was," he explained. "You can see I worked right through that, undiminished."

He added that he was "not in the slightest" traumatized by the scandal; after all, he and Previn have been living happily ever after with 20 years of marriage under their belts.

When asked how the marriage has changed him, Allen instead explained how much the relationship has helped his formerly destitute wife.

"She was an orphan on the streets, living out of trash cans and starving as a 6-year-old," he said. "And she was picked up and put in an orphanage. And so I've been able to really make her life better. I provided her with enormous opportunities, and she has sparked to them ... So the contributions I've made to her life have given me more pleasure than all my films."

After Allen discussed Previn's Cinderella story, he was asked again how Previn has changed him.

"I don't know if you could say she changed me," he responded when pressed. "I don't know if I've changed. I might be the same person I was when I was 20."

And where is Mia Farrow in all of this? "I think she lives in Connecticut. I'm not sure. Or travels for UNICEF or something."
