Prince George, 2, tells everyone he's 3 years old

Kids say the darnedest things, right? And royal children are no exception.

Although Prince George just celebrated his second birthday last week, he apparently tells people that he's three years old - a year older than he actually is.

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge revealed the adorable little tidbit Sunday while at the Rover Ben Ainslie Racing's headquarters in Portsmouth, England.

According to People, the revelation came out when a two-year-old boy introduced himself to Kate on Sunday, saying, "Hello Princess, my name is Freddie Wilson."

When Kate asked how old Freddie was, he answered, "I'm three," according to Freddie's mother, Wendy Maxwell. And when his mom clarified that little Freddie was actually only two, Kate knew exactly what was going on, relating her own experience with her son: "George says that. He thinks he's older."

George turned 2 on July 22. He's now an older brother to Kate and Prince William's second child, Princess Charlotte.
