"Teen Mom" Jenelle Evans arrested for domestic violence in South Carolina

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - "Teen Mom 2" reality TV star Jenelle Evans turned herself in to law enforcement Thursday around noon, reports CBS affiliate WBTW. Police say she assaulted her ex-boyfriend.

According to a Myrtle Beach Police report, Evans went to Nathan Griffith's home just after midnight Tuesday and got into an argument.

Griffith reportedly told police Evans called him first and said she was damaging his car and wanted him to come outside.

Once Griffith went outside, Evans said "now I know where you live," the report said.

Griffith told police that Evans assaulted him and began to try to choke him while digging her fingernails into his neck.

Griffith said he got away from Evans by going back inside his home and locking the door, the report said.

Evans allegedly then banged on the door and repeatedly demanded that Griffith let her in, according to the report.

She began screaming "he has my phone and won't give me back my son," the report said. She eventually left the scene.

Police said Griffith appeared to have scratches around his neck and a ripped t-shirt.
