And the 2015 American Music Awards nominees are ...

Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and the Weeknd are the top nominees for the 2015 American Music Awards.

The "Bad Blood" singer snagged six nods, including Artist of the Year, while both Sheeran and the Weeknd nabbed five noms each, including the coveted Artist of the Year.

There are plenty of other nominees in contention for Artist of the Year, too, including Ariana Grande, Luke Bryan, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor. That category will get smaller, though, closer to the awards show based on fan votes.

Swift is no stranger to the AMAs, having scored 10 wins in the past. This year's other leading contenders -- The Weeknd and Sheeran -- haven't won an American Music Award -- at least not yet.

The Song of the Year nominees are Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth with "See You Again," Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," Swift's "Blank Space," The Weeknd with "Can't Feel My Face" and Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars for their hit, "Uptown Funk!"

There's a mix of genres in this year's New Artist of the Year category with Fetty Wap, Sam Hunt, Tove Lo, Walk The Moon and The Weeknd.

Jennifer Lopez hosts the 2015 ceremony, marking the singer's first time emceeing an awards gala. The show will broadcast live Nov. 22 from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on ABC.
