"Friends" cast reprise roles on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"

Rachel, Monica and Phoebe have returned to that New York City apartment we know all too well.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow indulged late-night host Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday and reprised their roles from "Friends" by reading lines in a mock-up of Monica and Rachel's kitchen.

It all started when Kimmel told Aniston that he had written a "Friends" fan fiction that he would love to act out. He would take on David Schwimmer's role of Ross Geller, Monica's older brother. Kudrow and Cox were also on hand to play Monica and Phoebe.

The host noted that the he had killed off characters Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Chandler (Matthew Perry). They died from a monkey bite from Ross' pet Marcel.

Cox recently told David Letterman while on the "Late Show" that it was highly unlikely the world would ever see a full "Friends" reunion, which probably explains why Kimmel killed off the guys. "There's six friends and I've been trying to put a cast dinner together for 10 years. It doesn't happen," she said in April. "It's not gonna happen."

Aniston recently shared some views on her real-life friends' beauty choices, and they may surprise you. See, below:
