It's been 10 years since Amy Winehouse released "Back to Black"

It’s been a decade since Amy Winehouse made headlines with her second commercial album, “Back to Black,” but her collection of songs about heartbreak and addiction remain close to fans’ hearts. 

The album, which was released in the U.K. 10 years ago today, achieved both critical and commercial success, gaining multi-platinum status and winning Winehouse a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Artist.

The 27-year-old singer died five years ago, on July 23, 2011, from alcohol poisoning.
