"Dancing with the Stars" returns to the ballroom with new stars, new judge

Celebs like Antonio Sabato Jr. and Lea Thompson are strapping on their ballroom shoes for the upcoming season 19 premiere of "Dancing with the Stars."

Hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are back for this latest season of the dancing competition series, joined by returning judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

There's also a new addition to the judges' panel this year. Former "DWTS" pro and two-time champion Julianne Hough will appear alongside Goodman, Inaba and Tonioli this season as a permanent fourth judge for the series.

On Monday, Hough shared a selfie on Instagram in anticipation of the big premiere.

"Been doing radio interviews for the premiere of #DWTS all morning in my car and pjs because the service in my house is so terrible," Hough wrote in the caption for the photo, which shows her sitting in a vehicle while holding a large mug. "Thank goodness for PG tips and cashmere robes!"

Hough's brother, Derek, will compete once again this year, this time partnered with Bethany Mota, a YouTube personality.

In addition to Mota, Sabato Jr. and Thompson, additional contestants this year will include PBS' Tavis Smiley, Sadie Robertson from "Duck Dynasty," fashion designer Betsey Johnson, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alsonso Ribeiro and Tommy Chong, of Cheech & Chong fame.

They'll have some stiff competition from the pro-athletes also in the mix -- among them MMA fighter Randy Couture, Olympian Lolo Jones and NASCAR racer Michael Waltrip.

Actors Jonathan Bennett ("Mean Girls") and Janel Parrish ("Pretty Little Liars") round out the cast of celebrities hoping to win the grand prize this year.

The two-hour season 19 premiere of "Dancing with the Stars" kicks off Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
