Daniel Craig says he wants to "move on" from Bond
There are a few things Daniel Craig would prefer to do than shoot another James Bond movie.
For example, he'd prefer to harm himself than do that.
"I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists," said the "Spectre" actor when asked if he would stick with the franchise. "No, not at the moment. Not at all. That's fine. I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on."
Why? For one, Craig told Time Out that it's no fun playing 007.
"It's a drag," he said. "The best acting is when you're not concerned about the surface. And Bond is the opposite of that. You have to be bothered about how you're looking."
He also denounced Bond movies in general, saying there isn't much left to conquer.
"The Bond bank is dry," he said. "If you're asking me what would I do with another Bond movie? I haven't a clue."
Craig said he would only perhaps change his mind for a hefty sum.
"If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money," explained the actor.
He also said he wants nothing to do with who plays Bond next.
"Look, I don't give a f***," he said. "Good luck to them!"
He continued and said he would wash his hands of the future of the hit movies.
"'Oh look, it's Daniel Craig, he's on set again!' No!" he exclaimed of helping to guide the future movies.
