Funeral plans set for Jim Carrey's ex Cathriona White

Funeral plans have been set for Jim Carrey's late girlfriend, Cathriona White.

A source tells ET that Carrey will attend the services in Ireland, which will include a Friday night wake followed by a Saturday morning mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church in the village of Cappawhite. The family has asked for donations to be made to The Simon Community and the Circle of Friends Tipperary.

It was revealed earlier this week that the 30-year-old photographer was actually married to another man, Mark Burton, at the time of her death, though she and Carrey had been dating on and off for the last three years. According to records in Clark County, Nevada, White and Burton married on Jan. 14, 2013 at the Heavenly Bliss Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

White was found dead of an apparent suicide in her home on Monday, Sept. 28. Several notes were found at the scene, including one addressed to Carrey, whom White dated on and off for three years. The couple was most recently spotted on a romantic dinner date on Sept. 19. Earlier this month, Carrey and White even traveled to the actor's native Canada for a vacation together.

While White's family awaits the return of their daughter's body to Ireland, where she will be buried next to her late father, they issued the following statement: "The family of Cathriona White sincerely regret the untimely passing of their beloved daughter and sister. Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family. We will miss her terribly and at this difficult time we ask to be left in private to mourn our loss."

According to posts on social media, a small group of friends gathered to remember White with a stateside memorial service on Wednesday.
