Tom DeLonge: Is he in or out of Blink-182?

Despite reports to the contrary Tom DeLonge insists he's still in Blink-182.

The singer-guitarist released the following statement on Monday: "I never quit the band. Actually, I was on the phone discussing a possible Blink-182 event in New York City when I heard the 'news.' The ONLY truth here is that I have commitments that limit my availability this year. I love Blink-182 and I'm not leaving."

DeLonge echoed those sentiments on Instagram, too:

The comments come as Rolling Stone reported bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker saying DeLonge had "indefinitely" left the band. They revealed that Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba had signed on to replace him.

"It's hard to cover for someone who's disrespectful and ungrateful," said Barker. He goes on to explain what led up to the latest string of events -- from emails exchanged to comments made by DeLonge's team.

In 2005, Blink-182 went on an indefinite hiatus before reuniting four years later and releasing the 2011 album, "Neighborhoods."
