Purdue Pharma offering billions to settle opioid crisis lawsuits
CBS News has learned Purdue Pharma, the maker of oxycontin is offering to pay billions of dollars to settle thousands of lawsuits stemming from the opioid crisis. Newly obtained video also shows the former head of Purdue Pharma defending the marketing of oxycontin. Anna Werner reports.
