Indiana man wins big lottery prize twice in 3 months

INDIANAPOLIS -- You could say Robert Hamilton is a lucky guy, CBS affiliate WISH-TV reports.

The Indianapolis native claimed his second $1 million Hoosier Lottery prize this month. His first victory was just three months ago.

Lottery officials said Hamilton won big with the Hoosier Lottery's $120 Million Cash Spectacular Scratch-off game. The odds of winning a $1 million top prize on the game are one in more than two million, officials say.

Hamilton snagged his first winning ticket in Jasonville. His second winning ticket was purchased in Indianapolis.

Hamilton said his second million is "the icing on the cake."

With his first million, Hamilton took care of some financial obligations, purchased a home, took a vacation and bought a truck for his dad. He said he plans to get a motorcycle with his latest winnings.

Hamilton said he has no plans to stop working. In fact, he said he's grateful for the opportunity to purchase new equipment to further grow his business.

Hamilton's wife Donna said their winnings will not change their lives too much or go to their heads.

"We're just everyday, normal people," she said.
