Fighter jet down
Turkey says its military warned the crew of a Russian Su-24 fighter jet multiple times to leave Turkish airspace on Tuesday, but the plane ignored the warnings and was shot down for it. Russia says the plane never left Syrian airspace, and the ensuing standoff has serious implications for what was already an incredibly tense situation in the skies over Syria.
Trump's recollection
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is sticking by his dubious contention that he saw "thousands and thousands of people" cheering in New Jersey the wake of the September 11, 2001 terror attack on New York City. It's a claim that has been debunked by a number of fact checkers since he made it, but last night, Trump claimed he had proof.
NFL concussions
The National Football League and its players' union will hold a mandatory conference call with athletic trainers today after St. Louis Rams quarterback Case Keenum was kept in a game over the weekend after suffering a concussion.
