Stand by your man
Many Republican women are faced with a difficult choice: fall in line behind Donald Trump despite a distaste for his rhetoric, back Hillary Clinton, whose policies they disagree with, or simply sit out the race. We ask female Republican operatives if they fear the gender gap could sink their party in November.
Skewed view
Virtually every piece of data we have indicates Hillary Clinton will likely be the next president. Donald Trump is perhaps the most unpopular presumptive party nominee in American history. He trails her in national polls by about 10 points. But what if people just don't like admitting they support Trump to pollsters?
Canadian blaze
A massive airlift is underway to save thousands of Canadians trapped by raging wildfires in Alberta. Almost 90,000 people were forced to flee their homes in scorched Fort McMurray, and amid the chaos of fast-shifting flames, even evacuation centers are being forced to evacuate.
Simmering anger
Iraqi forces spent last night bolstering security around what was already meant to be the virtually impenetrable fortress of Baghdad's "Green Zone." With a powerful anti-U.S. cleric threatening more protests, security at the American embassy isn't the only reason for U.S. officials to fret over the unrest.
North Korea
The Workers' Party Congress is meant to solidify ruler Kim Jong Un's placement at the top of the Communist Party. CBS News was invited to witness the event as it started today, but our access was denied without explanation. Instead, we asked North Koreans some questions about their leaders, and our own.
Invictus Games
More than 500 athletes from 15 different countries are in Orlando, Florida, to compete in the second Invictus Games, which Britain's Prince Harry launched for wounded service members in 2014. We meet Team USA's Max Rohn, who's on a mission to reclaim his discus and shot put titles.
