Fan rushes Orlando soccer field, tackles star player Kaka
ORLANDO, Fla. -- A fan at Saturday night's Orlando City Soccer Club game was arrested after allegedly running onto the field and tackling Lions superstar Kaka, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.
Police said Nicholas Varon jumped onto the Camping World Stadium field and ran to middle of the pitch, where he tackled Major League Soccer's highest paid star.
Police have not said if they know why Kaka was tackled.
Kaka was not injured in the incident and declined to press charges, however Varon was led away on a disorderly conduct charge.
He was taken to the Orange County Jail where is was also given a warning for alleged trespassing, police said.
