HOLLYWOOD -- Several actors who work along the Hollywood Walk of Fame -- portraying costumed characters -- started throwing punches on Tuesday, reports CBS Los Angeles.

A production company was nearby -- filming another event -- but when the brawl in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre broke out around 5 p.m., cameras started rolling.

The video appeared to show Mr. Incredible and Batgirl struggling, while Chewbacca attempts to stop the fight. After Batgirl scratches Mr. Incredible, Waldo and Freddie Krueger try to hold him back, but he escapes. He then chases Batgirl before punching, kicking and flipping her onto the sidewalk. Bystanders eventually chase the characters away.

The identities of the masked superheroes has not been reported, and it's not clear what caused the fight.

It's not the first feud between superheroes. Two Captain Americas and Spiderman threw punches last May near Dolby Theatre, CBS Los Angeles reported.

After Tuesday's brawl, a reporter spoke with a Batman actor, who said that much like the comic books, there are good guys and bad guys.

"The good ones, we're stationary, we'll stand against the curb, people come to us," he told KCAL. "But the bad ones they roam up and down, so they cross paths or they target the same people, and then they get into each other. It's less now because we have a lot more police presence here since last year, and it has made a difference. It's not cleaned up yet, but it is getting better."

Officers were not called to Tuesday's brawl, but after seeing the video, police were interested in following up, CBS Los Angeles reported.
