Bristol Palin pregnant with third child
Bristol Palin is pregnant with her third child, she announced Friday on Entertainment Tonight.
The daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Palin, 26, is already mother to Tripp, 7, with her ex-boyfriend, Levi Johnston, and Sailor Grace, 1, with husband Dakota Meyer. She and Meyer, a National Medal of Honor winner, announced their marriage in June.
In 2008, Palin made national headlines when she announced she was pregnant shortly after Republican presidential candidate John McCain picked her mother to be his running mate. She and Johnston’s stormy relationship was well-publicized, and Palin became a spokeswoman for abstinence education. In 2011, she published a memoir, and in 2012, she starred on a reality show and then was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars.
Palin and Meyer announced their break-up one week before their scheduled wedding. She announced her second pregnancy shortly after she and Meyer broke up. She wrote on her blog “I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy.” She and Meyer were embroiled in a custody dispute before they reconciled and then married earlier this year.
