Mayim Bialik reveals why she hates Disney's "Frozen"

First she took issue with Ariana Grande, and now Mayim Bialik has a bone to pick with Disney's "Frozen."

"The Big Bang Theory" actress says she and her two sons -- Miles, 8, and Frederic, 6 -- had a very cold reception towards the Oscar-winning family film.

Bialik released a new post Wednesday for the Jewish parenting blog Kveller, titled "Why My Sons and I Hate the Movie 'Frozen.'"

She may be a self-described feminist, but Bialik says one of her main points of contention with the film -- about two Scandinavian princesses who save their kingdom -- is that she sees a "male-bashing" theme prevalent throughout the story.

Bialik wrote, "The Prince/hero turns out to be a scheming villain. He pretended to love [Princess Anna] and then he double crosses her and she gets the lesson taught to her not to trust those nasty scheming conniving men. Because you know, men can't be trusted? Meh."

She didn't stop there. Bialik also wasn't a fan of the depiction of the female characters.

"We still have a plot about the identification of a woman being based on her desire and search to meet a man," she notes. "This is a movie geared to small children who I don't think need to be focusing on that as the main driving plot of a movie."

And then there's the animation.

Bialik observed, "[The female characters] have ginormous eyes. Like really ridiculously big. Teeny-tiny ski slope noses...Barbie doll proportions of their bodies in general: tiny waists, ample busts, and huge heads. They look like dolls. They don't look like the same species as the male characters even! What's up with that?!"

There were some positive notes thrown into the post. Bialik said her oldest child was a fan of the snowman, Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad), and her youngest seemed to appreciate the film's color scheme.

Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, "Frozen" now stands as the highest-grossing animated Disney film of all time, having taken in over $1.274 billion at the global box office since its November 2013, release.

The film won two Academy Awards -- one for best animated film and another for best original song, for the hit "Let It Go."

Bialik also attracted press earlier this week when she penned another post for Kveller, this one slamming racy media ads featuring Ariana Grande, Levi's jeans and the Showtime hit, "Masters of Sex."

Tell us: Do you agree with Bialik? Is "Frozen" overrated?
