Aaron Paul reveals "Breaking Bad" fan pre-Emmys scavenger hunt
This isn't your children's scavenger hunt.
During an appearance Thursday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," "Breaking Bad" cast member Aaron Paul discussed how he sent fans of the hit AMC series on a quest around Los Angeles in the hours leading up to Sunday's Primetime Emmy Awards.
"There are certain objects [from the series] that are very rare obviously and also prized items. You've been giving them away?" Kimmel asked Paul, who was appearing on the late-night talk show to promote his new Netflix series, "BoJack Horesman."
"I was looking through this closet and I found all of these signed scripts, the pilot script, the finale script, Jesse Pinkman's license plate, the Lily of the Valley plant from the show...I [gave] clues," Paul explained.
The first clue in the scavenger hunt led eager fans to castmate R.J. Mitte, who played Walt Jr. on the series, as he sat waiting at a nearby IHOP. Paul said the IHOP was "bombarded" by fans in seconds and a traffic jam ensued.
"It's amazing, it's a beautiful thing," Paul added.

Following the scavenger hunt, Paul went on to win his third best supporting actor Emmy Award for his portrayal of Pinkman, a role which he played for all five seasons of "Breaking Bad" from 2008-2013.
There's always the possibility that we could somehow see Paul (perhaps in a flash-forward to the present) as Pinkman again in the upcoming prequel spin-off "Better Call Saul."
