Police sweep plane in Denver after pilot reports possible security threat
DENVER – Airport Police swept a plane at Denver International Airport after the pilot radioed about a possible security threat, CBS Denver reports.
Officers searched United Airlines flight 231 from San Diego to Denver.
United told CBS News early Tuesday that the flight received “a non-credible security threat.” Once the plane landed, “out of precaution,” passengers were taken odd and the aircraft was inspected. Once an all-clear was received, everyone got back on board and the plane taxied to a gate.
As a precaution, the plane was parked away from gates, in an isolated area.
The nature of the threat wasn’t clear.
