Trump's defense

GOP front-runner Donald Trump has responded to yet another controversy -- the latest in a string of comments that have simultaneously prompted outcry, and rocketed him to the top of the polls. This time, it was in reference to a mocking impression of New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who has a physical handicap.

Carson to Syria

2016 Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson has told the New York Times he's on his way to Jordan, to learn for himself why countries in the region are, "so resistant to integrating Syrians into their populations." Carson's grasp of foreign policy matters has been called into question, and more so in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
