Arrest after Texas teen posts video of assault to Facebook
DUNCANVILLE, Texas - An 18-year-old is under arrest after police say he posted a video on Facebook that depicts him punching two teens repeatedly, reports CBS DFW.
Cameron Hendrix has been charged with assault and felony injury to a child. The victims have been identified as a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old.
On the video, Hendrix can be seen punching two victims in the face, then chasing them and hitting them again. Laughter can be heard in the background.
Duncanville Police search social media every morning looking for things like this, said department spokesperson Sgt. Ross Dobelbower.
"We want to get the message out that if you do this kind of thing in Duncanville, we're going to find you and put you in jail," he said.
Police say they have not identified the person who videotaped the crime. The investigation continues.
