Plane diverted to Ohio airport after alleged threats
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- There are reports that a plane has been diverted to an Ohio airport after a passenger allegedly made threatening remarks.
Multiple media outlets are reporting the plane was diverted to Port Columbus International Airport on Thursday.
CBS Columbus affiliate WBNS-TV reports the United Express flight was traveling from St. Louis to Washington, D.C.
Television images show several passengers standing on the tarmac some distance from the terminal with several police vehicles near a United Express plane.
Messages were left with the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.
