What’s next

As the inaugural ceremony of Donald Trump gets underway, we’ve put together a guide on the top Trump-related issues to keep an eye on once he’s sworn in, from cooperation with Congress, to his rocky relations with the news media.

First (3rd) son

Eric Trump and his family are preparing for a major adjustment. The third-oldest Trump child sits down with “CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King to talk about the president-elect’s Cabinet appointments, Twitter use, and controversial separation from the family business empire.

Different perspectives

Hundreds of thousands of people are pouring into Washington, D.C., for a weekend of events around the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump. Thousands are women, but they all have different agendas and contrasting opinions on Mr. Trump. We ask some of them why they’re coming to celebrate, or protest.

Hatchet burier?

President-elect Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, says he’s humbled as his former boss begins his presidency and promises that Mr. Trump won’t hold a grudge against the 60-plus House Democrats who are boycotting his inauguration.

Automobile impact

With their global supply chains and massive overseas investment, U.S. car manufacturers are particularly vulnerable as President-elect Donald Trump vows to tear up free trade agreements and impose harsh tariffs on foreign vehicles. So how will Mr. Trump’s policy likely affect auto companies -- and consumers?

“El Chapo”

Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, one of the most notorious drug cartel kingpins still alive today, is now in the U.S. after being extradited from Mexico. El Chapo twice managed to escape from Mexican prisons and has spent years on the run, but he will now face drug trafficking and other charges in a U.S. court.
