Parachute found, but no skydiver after jump in Okla.

CUSHING, Okla. - Police and first responders searched through the night into Monday morning after the parachute for a missing skydiver was found following a jump on Sunday afternoon.

CBS affiliate KWTV reports the skydiver was only identified as a 26-year-old woman from Kansas. Officials say she was experienced in skydiving, having jumped six times on Sunday alone before disappearing. She was taking part in a program at a sjydiving school in Cushing.

Her final jump took place around 3:45 p.m. Sunday near Cushing. Her parachute was found in a wooded area about five miles from Cimarron Correctional Facility, but she wasn't with it.

The local sheriff said they have no explanation for what happened yet, and that about 80 people took part in the overnight search.
