Weather havoc
More than 50 vehicles collided on an ice-covered bridge in Niagara Falls, New York. Seven people were taken to hospitals. In northern New England, hundreds of thousands of people are starting a third snowy day without electricity. Chris McKinnon from CBS Boston station WBZ reports.
Christian among Muslims
Pope Francis begins an historic three-day tour of Turkey. It's only the fourth trip by a pope to the mostly Muslim nation, and security is tight as Francis travels through the country. CBS News Correspondent Allen Pizzey reports from Ankara, Turkey.
Ferguson Black Friday
There are calls for a Black Friday boycott from Ferguson. Overnight, protesters went from the streets to inside the stores. CBS News Correspondent Vladimir Duthiers reports on how the National Guard and local police are trying to keep order at shopping centers.
Picking up
In Ferguson's scarred downtown, Darcy Edwin and her husband Eddie spent Thanksgiving morning painting a bit of hope on the boarded-up reminders of a terrible week, after outrage over the grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case. CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann reports, Steve Moore was serving hope at his Celebrity Soul Food restaurant. His Thanksgiving meal was free for any riot victim.
Better jobs
Since October of 2010, U.S. employment has grown by 8.2 million, and 7.8 million -- or fully 95 percent -- of those jobs are full-time (defined as 35 or more hours per week). In fact, in only four months over that time period did the growth in full-time workers not greatly exceed the growth in part-time workers.
