Three people are dead in a shooting that police characterized as a "workplace confrontation" at a Ford dealership in Morgan Hill, near San Jose, California, CBS San Francisco reports. Police said they found a man suffering from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound with a handgun by his side at the north end of the building toward the service department.

Two additional people with gunshot wounds were found inside the building. Morgan Hill police said all three of the people shot worked at the dealership. A massive police response was seen outside the building.

Police did not give a motive for the shooting. Police said the gunman had been an longtime employee at the dealership.

The identities of the suspect and the victims were not yet released.

Doug Macglashan, who was hired by the dealership for the day from Southern California to train employees on new software, told CBS San Francisco he was nearly done before the day suddenly turned deadly.

"About 10, 15 minutes later, gunshots," he said.  "It's just scarier than hell. I'm not used to hearing gunshots, I'm not used to being around this type of violence. So it's just scary."
