John Lewis at the heart of Black America’s struggle for equality

Congressman John Lewis, a son of sharecroppers who would go on to be a prominent leader of the 1960s Civil Rights Movement alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., died Friday after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
