Former acting CIA director says whistleblower is "well-trained analyst"

President Trump’s acting director of national intelligence spent hours answering questions from lawmakers Thursday about a whistleblower complaint that’s now at the center of a House impeachment inquiry. In the detailed, nine-page complaint, a whistleblower said "senior White House officials" worked to "lock down" all records of a presidential phone call out of fear that "they had witnessed the president abuse his office for personal gain."
