World Cup 2014: U.S. rallies behind team on Twitter

As the American team gets set to play Germany, fans around the country are preparing for the game, too

FIFA says about 200,000 World Cup tickets were sold in the United States (second only to host Brazil), but more than one million fans are following Team USA on the squad's official Twitter account.

And as the U.S. faces Germany with a berth in the World Cup knockout round at stake, the team is getting lots of love on social media, driven by the hashtag #LetsDoThis.
