IRS workers got bonuses despite owing back taxes
A new report finds that IRS employees who failed to pay their taxes, misused travel cards or even committed fraud still received more than $2.8 million worth of bonuses between 2010 and 2012. About 1,000 IRS employees owe back taxes -- roughly one percent of the agency’s workforce. Nancy Cordes reports.
